Green Pool Clean-up, Kailua Kona

This pool had been sitting green for a couple of months before I was called in. In this case we did a full drain, chlorine wash then pressure wash. It took some work but we managed to get it sparkling clean in a day and had it filled the next morning. The first pic below is after draining. The second shows before and after the chlorine wash (before is on the right).

Upon inspecting the equipment we found the reason why the pool turned green. The 15+ year old saltwater chlorine generator had quit working. The owner decided to have us put in a brand new salt system:
